About Me

Alex Fieldcamp grew up in New York City and currently resides there. He had his early schooling at St. Bernard’s School, Loyola, and Groton. Fieldcamp’s interest in money and markets led him to Cornell University’s undergraduate business school, where he majored in Applied Economics with a specialization in Finance. He has worked in finance for the most of his career, holding jobs at both big investment management firms and boutique investment banks.

Fieldcamp is proud of his Cuban mother, who immigrated to the United States at a young age to start a new life. Fieldcamp has had multiple opportunities to visit his family in Cuba, where he has learned more about his ancestors. He even drove throughout the length of the island of Cuba from Havana to Santiago on one of his excursions, a voyage he recalls clearly to this day.
